V. Mitch McEwen is an architectural designer, writer, and educator working across the built environment, infrastructure, and reparations. Her work brings design into conversation with black studies, computation, and non-extractive building practices. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art and the Venice Architecture Biennale. She is Assistant Professor of Architecture at Princeton University, where she directs the Black Box research group, and principal of Atelier Office in Harlem.
